BNM announced scheduled protests against Pakistani intelligence agencies’ excesses in Balochistan

Occupied Balochistan: The acting president of Baloch National Movement (BNM) has that Mahboob Wadhela Baloch had recently resigned from a pro-parliament party and joined BNM, Pakistani intelligence agencies want to discourage other people from joining Baloch pro-independence parties, hence they abducted Mr Wadhela. Asa Zafar Baloch further said that Pakistani intelligence agencies are abducting peaceful Baloch political activists on regular basis; Baloch do not expect any justice from Pakistani media, judiciary and Pakistan’s Human Rights Organisation as they all are working to safeguard Punjabi and Pakistan’s interests.

Even though there is a so called democratic government is in place in Balochistan but they are helpless and cannot do anything to stop the notorious intelligence agencies of Pakistan [ISI, MI, FIA, ATF and FC] from abducting and killing innocent Baloch citizens on daily basis. The continuing atrocities and human rights violations in Balochistan by Pakistani security forces are a slap on the face of those who make tall claims about justice and democracy in Pakistan.

BNM leader announced the following protest campaign schedule against the arrest of Mahboob Wadhela, Mir Bohair Bangulzai and thousands of other Baloch enforced disappeared political activists. He made it clear that the purpose of the protest campaign is not to beg for mercy from Pakistan. The campaign is aimed to expose Pakistan’s inhuman action to the wider International community. Protest is also meant to create awareness and unite Baloch masses on the plate form of Baloch pro-independence parties.

According BNM schedule the campaign against force-disappearances and public awareness will start on 4 April from Kalat and will continue until 19, April 2010. On 5 April in Turbat, 6 April in Noshki, 7 April in Quetta, 8 April in Lyari, 10 April in Hub, 11 April in Malir, 12 April in Ormara, 13 April in Buleda, 14 April in Karachi, 15 April in Thump, 17 April in Kharan, 18 April in Panjgur and on 19 April there will be a demonstration in Gwadar Balochistan.

Open in new windowProtest rallies in Sindh against Wadhela’s arrest: Baloch residents of Kalar Shakh, Tando Adam and Dera Allah Yar have protest in front of press clubs of the respective regions and demanded immediate release of Mahboob Wadhela Baloch. They chanted slogans against the extra judicial arrest of Mr Baloch, Several Sindhi activists have also joined the Baloch protests and said that oppressed nations cannot be enslaved anymore. The protests vowed that they will not keep silence on the extra judicial arrests of Baloch political activists in Balochistan. They said Baloch from all over world must raise their voice against Pakistan’s atrocities against the people of Balochistan.

VBMP’s staff abducted by FC: Voice for Baloch Missing Persons’ chairman Nasruallah Baloch and vice chairman Qadeer Baloch have said that the finance secretary KD Baloch and his two companions Mushtaq and Mahiudeen abducted by personnel of Pakistani FC near BMC (Bolan Medical College) here on Friday. Voicing his concerned the chairman said that KD Baloch and his friend have been whisked away by the FC and intelligence agencies of Pakistan. He said there is great risk that they will be put in secret prisons and torture just like thousands of other Baloch abducted persons.

VBMP said that it abduction by FC are a gross human rights violation. If KD Baloch and his friends are not released immediately, it will lodge a legal petition in Balochistan High Court and Supreme Court of Pakistan against FC and intelligence agencies.
