A Baloch mother’s plea to International Human Rights Organisations


Quetta: The mother of BSO (azaad) vice chairman Mr Zakir Majeed has appealed the International Human Rights Organisation to the safe recovery and release of her son. Mr Zakir Majeed has been abducted by Pakistani’s Intelligence agencies on 8 June 2009, from Mastung.


The mother of Baloch Student leader said that it has been over three months and she has not heard of her son’s whereabouts. In her statement she said she was very concerned about her son’s conditions and safety, as she has heard that her son is being severely tortured in secret dungeons of Pakistani army.


“My son did not commit any crimes, he was a social and student activist, who has been struggling for the safeguard of humanity”, she said. If my son has committed any crime he should be brought before court of justice and given a fair trial, she added. “I therefore appeal to International Human Right Organisation to help recover my son” she appealed.
