Pakistani security forces attacked across Balochistan, Two PAF personnel killed in Pasni

Quetta : The Baloch freedom fighters claimed to have killed several Pakistani security forces personnel including two staff of Pakistan Air Force in different attack across Balochistan on Monday.   

According to Balochistan national media reports at least three people, including two personnel of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), were killed and another PAF personal was injured in Pasni, Gwadar District. The Pakistan Air Force personnel were shopping at the Zareen Markeet when armed men on motorbike opened fire on them.   

Resultantly, three people, including two PAF personnel and a shopkeeper were killed, while a PAF official sustained bullet injuries. The deceased were identified as Muhammad Ibrahim from Skardu, Khurram Shahzad from Rawalpindi and the shopkeeper identified as Elahi Bukhsh, a resident of Mashkey Balochistan, while the injured was identified as Nabi Shah.   

Pasni Tehsildar Shey Akbar Baloch while speaking to Daily Times said: “The law and order situation is not good in Pasni and we had asked the security personnel to inform us before visiting the city so that we could provide them security.”   

Meanwhile, Gwahram Baloch, a spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Front (B L F) has claimed responsibility for the attack on Pakistan Air Force personnel. He said Pakistani security forces were on the target of Baloch freedom fighters and warned the general public to stay away from Pakistani security forces personnel, check posts and vehicles.   

“Our main target was the PAF personnel and we regret that a local shopkeeper was also killed as the result of our attack,” said Gwahram Baloch.  
He further claimed that fighters from his organisation have also killed a Frontier Corps (F.C) man in Prom region of Panjgur town in Balochistan.  

In a separate attack several worker of FWO (Frontier Work Organisation), a construction and military engineering branch of the Pakistani Army, have reportedly been injured in Panjgur, Balochistan.   

Jiand Baloch, a spokesperson, of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has accepted responsibility for the attack on military’s construction company.   

Mr Baloch has also warned the drug traders in Panjgur to mince their ways. “We warn the drug sellers to stop selling lethal drugs to local Baloch youth. Otherwise the Baloch sarmachar (freedom fighters) will attack them. “  

A man, identified as Muhammad Jamal, was shot dead by unknown men, riding a motorbike, at Al-Faisal Chowk in Khuzdar on Monday.   

BLA spokesperson Jiand Baloch claimed responsibility for gunning him down and said that he was a staff of Pakistan’s secret agencies.   

Three Pakistani security forces personnel have also reportedly been killed in Soro region of Mand town in Balochistan. Baloch Republican Army (BRA) spokesperson, Sarbaaz Baloch, claimed responsibility for the attack, adding that fighters from his organisation attack a check post of Pakistani forces and injured several personnel of Frontier Corps.   

Sarbaaz Baloch also claimed that BRA fighters have killed another two personnel of security forces in Baar Bozh area of Dera Bugti and Tump Balochistan respectively.   

Baloch resistance organisations, fighting for the independence of Balochistan, have recently escalated their attacks against Pakistani security forces across Balochistan.

Forced Confession Of Baloch Political Prisoners In Iran

Zahidan : We fear their execution will happen soon, thus asking international community and human rights defenders to intervene and put pressure on the Iranian government to halt the prisoners’ execution and provide them open and fair trial with access to their own defense lawyers.

Iranian official television has broadcasted forced confession of some Baloch political Prisoners most of them were arrested in March, April and May 2012. They confess of their involvement in assassination of Mr. Mulavi Mostafa Jungozahi.

Most of the people in the region believe that Mulavi Janguzahi has been assassinated by the regime’s own security forces, in order to justify their plan for arresting Baloch activists and terrorizing people in Balochistan. Even Mulavi Mostafa Jangozahi's family members have rejected these people’s involvement in the assassination plot.

Given the regime’s fear of uprising by oppressed nationalities people against open discrimination, it is using its most fearful instrument of forceful confession and execution in the regions of oppressed nationalities. In the recent weeks the regime has convicted to death also Kurdish and Arab political prisoner in Iran. They also have been shown in TV where they have confessed their connection to foreign countries and assassinations.

It is the Iranian authorities’ normal practice in Balochistan to execute political prisoners after their forced televised confessions. We fear their execution will happen soon, thus asking international community and human rights defenders to intervene and put pressure on the Iranian government to halt the prisoners’ execution and provide them open and fair trial with access to their own defense lawyers.

“Military Operation Has Been Escalated In Balochistan; Baloch Women Were Abducted From Dera Bugti.” Sister Of Zakir Majeed

The hunger strike camp of the families of Baloch missing persons entered its 1055th day in total and 55th day in Karachi.

A delegation of BNM Gwadar visited the camp here in Karachi and expressed solidarity with the families of abducted Baloch and assured them of their support. While talking to the family members of victims the BNM delegation said that since the occupation of Balochistan by Pakistani and Irani forces Baloch intellectuals and revolutionary sons of soil are struggling to regain the sovereignty of Baloch state. It is the determined struggle and sacrifices of Baloch sons that today the struggle has turned into a full fledge freedom movement.

“Occupying forces have escalated the army operation and Baloch genocide in Balochistan, state is trying to frighten the people of Kohlu, Kahan, Dera Bugti and Mashky by using brutal and violent methods,” Said Vice chairman, General Secretary of VBMP sister of Zakir Majeed and Mehlab Baloch daughter of Deen Mohammad to the delegation.

They said the Pakistani power drunken Army is torturing Baloch women and children, many women were disappeared by Pakistani forces in Dera Bugti few days back. Situation in Khuzdar is also similar to the one in Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Kahan and elsewhere in Balochistan. Pakistani army is burning the houses of Balochs to build army cantonments.

Pakistani forces have read the book of hitler to brutalize Baloch nation for the land and resources of Balochistan, Said Mama Qadeer while talking to delegation.  He further said that Pakistani forces know very well they have to leave this land sooner or later then I don’t understand why are they using the name of Islam.

The families of abducted Baloch appealed to international community to take immediate notice of Pakistani barbarism in Balochistan.

Karachi: The hunger strike camp of families of enforced disappeared Baloch reached to 1054 days. A delegation of BSO Azad Tump zone visited the camp of disappeared Baloch to sympathize with the families and they assured their support. They said the burden we have on our shoulders is for the welfare of our struggle not for individiuals. If any one takes our freedom from us they may but they cannot take away the right of sacrifice from us. Said the spokesman of BSO Azad delegation.

Today Pakistani military is inflicting brutalities on Baloch living in every part of Balochistan, the enemy state is telling the Baloch with force that they are slave and will have to live the life of slaves or else they would be killed one by one.

Qadeer The Voice chairman of Baloch missing persons (VBMP). He said Baloch are fighting for their freedom. Sacrificing for freedom is the duty of every conscious person whether young or old.

To prolong the occupation of Balochistan the state is using the traitors against Baloch national liberation struggle with its policies of votes and elections. But the Baloch nation has also vowed not to bargain the sacrifices of martyred and abducted Baloch. Baloch will never become part of the occupier’s parliament and death squads whose hands are red with the Baloch blood.

Eight persons including a woman and a child killed during Pakistan military offensives in Balochistan

Quetta : 

At least eight innocent Baloch including a child and a woman have been killed by Pakistan’s armed forces in different areas of Balochistan on Monday.
Sources reported that Pakistani forces raided and attacked a house in Besima area of Balochistan. Two occupants, Mr Qasum Baloch and his sister Rozina Baloch, were killed due indiscriminate firing and shelling on their house.

Meanwhile, in another incident two men have reportedly been killed in Panjgur in a gun battle against Pakistani Army. Unconfirmed sources reported that a number of Pakistan military personnel have also been killed in the clash. The bodies of the two men are said be still in the custody of military and their identity could not ascertained until the filing of this report.

Separately, two bullet-riddled bodies have been discovered, in Haidari canal, from the Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti on Monday. The bodies were taken to the PPL hospital in Sui for autopsy where the deceased were identified as Bahian S/O Arz Mohammad Bugti and Raza Mohammad (Razzu) S/O Gul Mohammad Bugti. According to hospital sources the victims were shot multiple times in the head and upper torso.

The central spokesperson of the Baloch Republican Party claimed that the victims were from the thirteen people abducted during a military offensive on Saturday from Pirkoh area.

The BRP’s press release further claimed that a man and his daughter were killed when a rocket hit their hut. The deceased have been named as Buzoo Bugti s/o Sher Khan Bugti and his little daughter while his wife and his daughter-in-law were severely wounded. The press release read: “Dozens of houses have been also destroyed when Pakistani security forced bombarded the area Pirkoh area of Dera Bugti.”

Pakistan federal government has imposed governor rule in Balochistan and given a free hand to the Frontier Corps (FC) to carry out targeted operation across Balochistan after over a hundred shia Hazars were killed by allegedly state back Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, an Islamic extremist group, in Quetta.

However, the Baloch political parties argue that the governor rule was imposed to intensify the military operation against pro-independence Baloch people to pave the way for upcoming elections in Pakistan. They Baloch political parties allege that Lashkar-e-Jhangvi are supported and protected by Pakistani security forces that is why they can operate freely and with impunity. The main victims of the governor rule are and will be the innocent Baloch people, the Baloch nationalists say.

The enemies of civilized world announced Jihad against Baloch Nation. Hyrbyair Marri

“The enemies of civilized world have waged a war against the Baloch nation, which confirms the fact that the Pakistani state machinery is trying to wipe out the secular Baloch nation,” said the Baloch patriotic leader Hyrbyair Marri.

He further said that, Pakistan couldn’t deceive the world with her double standards and it has failed to paint Baloch nation as a religious extremist force. This failed endeavour of Pakistan was to deprive the Baloch nation of help and support by the democratic and civilised world. The Baloch nation proved at different instances that it is not against any one on ethnic or religious basis. The Baloch nation is struggling only to defend their motherland.

The Baloch leader said that, “failed in quashing the Baloch struggle through threats, bribes, disappearances and killings the occupying state is now trying to use the foot soldiers of ISI and MI with the name of Pakistan Difa Council (Defence of Pakistan Council).” This council, Mr Marri said, is involved in sabotaging the peace process in Afghanistan and is a big supporter of stopping NATO supplies. They spew hatred against America and entire West during the rallies in every city of Pakistan. Not confined to this, their leaders even include people like Hafiz Saeed, who is said to be the mastermind of Mumbai Attacks and America has put head money on him.

This so-called council considers Baloch freedom activists as non-Muslims and has issued edict of Jihad against the Baloch freedom struggle. This clearly shows that instead of protecting Islam they are more interested in preserving and protecting the geographical existence of Pakistan which is a black stain on the name of religion.

Mr. Marri further said that now is the time to judge whether America is going to support the jihadist state of Pakistan, who is backing the attacks against ISAF and America, or they will stand with the secular and liberal Baloch nation. The Baloch nation is fighting against these religious fanatics since long for its existence. In broadest sense the Baloch nation is not only fighting its war but also trying to protect the whole world from religious extremists that are being nurtured by Pakistan and Iran.

The Baloch leader said that the world has to take a stern stance about Pakistan [nuclear weapons] exactly in similar fashion they’re putting pressure on Iran to stop developing nuclear weapons. Because it has now become clear that due to the soft stance of US Pakistan has come into position that she is able to blackmail US and the Afghanistan war is showing very disappointing results which is not only dangerous for America but it is alarming for the entire region.

Hayrbyair Marri said US, Europe and all other civilized and democratic countries should now support the Baloch nation in getting their independence from the occupying states of Iran and Pakistan. He said the occupying states should withdraw from Balochistan like Britain, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy had left their colonies without having need of any referendum. Similarly in recent past Iraq was forced to withdraw from Kuwait, following the same rule, these two occupying states (Iran and Pakistan) should leave Balochistan.

He said Baloch are the only power that can not only help bring peace in the region but they’re also natural ally of the civilised world in International war against religious extremism. Pakistan and Iran are trying to brutally crush the Baloch people and now even mass graves are being found in Balochistan which illustrates that thousands of abducted Baloch might be tortured to death and buried in unknown mass graves.

Mr Marri praised the statements of Senator John Mccain and Ryan Crocker in which they expressed concerned that Pakistan was providing safe heaven to the enemies of America and creating problems for them (Americans). He said if Pakistan had any respect for International laws, she would not have given safe heaven to Osama-Bin-Laden, world’s most wanted man, near the military base in Abbottabad and neither would have she allowed Organisations like Defence of Pakistan Council hold rallies to incite people against West.

He said the statements of American leaders would have been more affective if they had pressurise their own government to review their policy about Pakistan’s double standards. He said, America should take action as it took against Libya, Yemen and Egypt to save human lives whereas Pakistan and Iran have full immunity to carry out the massacre of Baloch people. Mr Marri said as long as America and West doesn’t end its discriminatory policies and start treating all nations equally, monster like Pakistan will continue to take advantage and destroy the peace in the region.

My children's life is not more precious than the life of thousands of Baloch martyrs of liberation struggle: Dr Allah Nazar Baloch

Occupied Balochistan:Baloch Pro-independence leader and Guerrilla Commander Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch in a statement has said that on April 18 Tehreek e Nafaz e Aman has issued a threat to the newspapers and media to target his young sons Nodan Baloch and Tamoochan Baloch is in fact a threat primarily issued by Pakistan Army and I.S.I in order to cover up their heinous crimes against Baloch nation and humanity and to hide their blood thirsty face to the world as they are using fake names to propagate against Baloch freedom fighters and install fear in the minds of Baloch masses.


But, my sons are not above the national struggle, neither my sons nor I are above the thousands of martyrs and the people who are struggling for Baloch freedom. And Baloch nation already knows the barbarian actions and character of the occupying forces.


The threat to kill my young sons is aimed to pressurize the people like me to surrender and leave the struggle behind and it is also a hideous attempt to create fear and anxiety among Baloch people. But, we would like to make it very clear to the Pakistan Army, I.S.I and their instruments and Baloch traitors that such criminal intentions and acts will not amaze us at all.


Thousands of Balochs are forcefully disappeared, hundreds were murdered during detention and their mutilated bodies were thrown, while killing old veterans like Sardar Akbar Bugti, Sado Mari, Haji Jan Mohammad Mari, Naseer Kamalan, Haji Mohammad Ramzan Zehri, Hafiz Abdul Qadir Nadarmani Mengal, 13 years old Majeed Zehri, young Waheed alias Balach, young Yasir Jan, sister of Brahmdagh Bugti, the martyrdom of her young girl and hundreds of other such incidents could not budge the Baloch nation from its struggle for independence then their new atrocities will not de-track the Baloch nation from obtaining its national aims and objectives.


The fact of the matter is that all of these inhumane acts are being committed against Baloch because of the Pakistani occupation and the authority of its murderous military and secret agencies over occupied Balochistan. The essence of our struggle is to end this authority so that no other oppressor would be able to disappear, kill or threaten to do so to the Baloch sons. Baloch national struggle is being carried out in accordance to the international laws, Islamic laws, natural laws and according to the internationally recognized charter of human rights and is genuine as well as on the right path.


Just like Pakistan Army could not stop the Bengalis to achieve their independence after mass murdering three million of their population, similarly they cannot stop the Baloch movement with the genocide of Baloch. However, those Balochs who are taking side with Pakistan Army, I.S.I and other murderous instruments and have become their agents and death squad members are doing nothing except for blackening their souls. They should refrain themselves from these hostile acts, otherwise they will have to face the same fate of those Biharis, Al-Shams, Al-Badar, Jamait-e-Islami’s Bengali traitors who fought against Bengali liberation movement and sided with Pakistan Army. These traitors are neither being accepted by their colonial master Pakistan nor Bangladesh is giving them citizenship. Even after 41 years of independence they are still rotting in the temporary camps and jails. It will be an honor for a member of independence struggle like me if mine or my children’s blood is used for the irrigation of freedom movement.

The Baloch Iron lady: tells the suffering of Baloch families of abducted Baloch

Imagine you are forced to live your all life alone without any relative in your life, forcedly taken, beaten & killed & you didnt got the chance to see their faces for the last time. The very thought of living alone makes you shiver because it is hardly impossible for a human to even live a second without anybody giving you a back support.

Now lets put a woman in this example when her husband was dragged, beaten, manhandled & later bristled with bullets infront of her and the children, she suffered the most horrific sight but didn’t flinched because of her children, when the assailant were done they slapped her & ordered her not to drag any judicial inquiries in this or she will face the dire consequences. She didn’t reacted nor did she went for the police neither she went for judicial inquiries hoping that the worst was over, but she was wrong.

The story I am writing is not a fairy tale nor did it happen in ‘Palestine’, ‘Kashmir’, ‘Bahrain’ or ‘Syria’ it happened right here in ‘Balochistan’ the wretched land under Pakistan’s oppression. The woman I am talking about is Mahir Bibi Marri (The Iron Lady) who suffered the trauma but didn’t suffer it once but dozens of time, her heart aches but she doesn’t give up, it’s like she gets beaten up everytime but doesn’t want to stay down, just like the Pakistani Intelligence services would say “She wont give up”.

Her Husband Mir Humedan Marri was killed by Pakistan Army when they raided her house dragged, assaulted & later put dozens of bullets in his body. The day she saw her husband murdered is still fresh in her mind when she was interviewed on National Media, it was like she was referring to yesterday, she remembered how Pakistan army threw her from here to there without respecting her as a woman and she remembers how this same army who call themselves “Pure Army” kicked her children while they resisted their father’s arrest.

The day 9th September 1985 to her is the day when she saw the horror of this vicious army as they took shots after shots at her husband like he was a piñata or an animal ready to be slaughtered, “Nothing can be described but pure hatred & evil, as they killed my husband, my son & now I don’t know where my nephews are” Says Mahir Bibi Marri.

Truly hatred and evil is the word to describe them, the way they have killed and dumped Baloch political activists is not human nature. Mahir Bibi Marri with tear in her eyes haven’t seen her son for 6 years, Mr Kamesa Marri who she says was her last support and perhaps her last hope to love this life has not returned after 25 August 2006, The day when Pakistan army started bombarding Dera Bugti & Kohlu area. Mahir Bibi Marri says that she doesn’t believe her son is dead but he’s rather missing & abducted by Pakistan army, but it doesn’t looks like that what she believes is true because on that day 20 Baloch locals were killed and their bodies were not recovered, According to Baloch sources they were buried in a mass grave to hide the shame of Pakistan army.

She suffered more than any human being could suffer in one lifetime but the sad part is this that her suffering didn’t stopped on her son but continued her three nephews & a cousin for whom she went on a hunger strike in Karachi press club have been abducted by ISI (Inter Service Intelligence).

On 1st June 2008 her nephews Mr. Abdul Rehman Marri Age 36, Mr. Umar Marri Age 25 and Mr. Jan Ali Marri Age 20, were traveling from Jalarhi to Quetta but when they reached Balbali Checkpost near Harnai Quetta they were stopped by Pakistani Armed Forces and were arrested, Her cousin who is a 70 year old blacksmith from Quetta was abducted from Chaman by Pakistan forces, after the arrest the family of the missing persons have not received any information regarding them, not even the local police wanted to cooperate.

Mahir Bibi Marri (The Iron Lady) lost her husband, her son & her relatives but she still is fighting, hoping that somehow, someway, someone will wake up to these injustices and would provide her the justice for which she sits in a hunger strike but for sure the justice will not come from Pakistan judicial courts. Lastly Mahir Bibi Marri in her interview concluded “Whatever happened to my husband, my son & my nephews I am still going to protest because it is not about my family but the family of the thousands of Baloch who lost their loved ones in the hands of Pakistan army, I would like to plead to those International Powers to investigate and bring justice to the suffering Baloch families rather than turning a blind eye & a silence as a response”.

“Bring Justice, Bring Peace, The motives are different but we are humans after all and we can get along peacefully.” Diagoh Murad.

Nine months on: Gwadar fishermen still in Somali captivity

Occupied Balochistan,GWADAR: The authorities couldn’t care less, complained families of the 11 fishermen from Gwadar, who were kidnapped eight months ago by Somali pirates when their boat drifted into the open sea.Expressing disappointment on Tuesday at the government’s indifference to their plight, relatives of the kidnapped fishermen termed the administration and society “lethargic”.
The fishermen, who were captured by Somali pirates, along with their launch back in February, include Ibrahim, Rahim Bakhsh, Tahir, Saleh Muhammad, Qadir Bakhsh, Younus Muhammad Ali, Khuda Bakhsh, Rafiq and Hanif.


Initially, the victims were in contact with their families through satellite phones. They informed their relatives that the pirates were demanding money for their release. However, it’s been months now since the families last heard from them.
The families said they have held two meetings with their MPA and provincial Minister for Fisheries Hammal Kalmti to seek his help, but no steps had been taken by him so far. They added that whenever they call him now, they are told he is either in Islamabad or in London.
Owner of the ill-fated fishing boat Khuda Baksh told that they had also contacted human rights activist Ansar Burney in this regard, but he too had not paid any heed to the matter.
The families who are worried sick about the health and safety of their loved ones urged the media to bring their predicament to the forefront in hopes of moving the government to fulfill its responsibilities.

Despite the limited resources Daily Tawar continues its publication for seven years.

According to the sources a leading Urdu newspaper in Balochistan has been receiving threats by Pakistani intelligence agencies for several times in order to stop its publication but it didn’t.Daily Tawar Editor in chief” Khadam Lehri in an interview stated that he for too many times was threatened by Pakistani intelligence agencies for leaving ‘’Daily Tawar”

It should be noted that before some days Tawar head office in Karachi was surrounded by Pakistani intelligence agencies for many days, working journalists were life threatened and supply of electricity cut by intelligence agencies to head office in Karachi. Latest sources from Quetta said after Pakistan’s notorious intelligence agencies lives threatens to working journalists of Tawar; they are using different tactics to pressurize staff, News agents and printing offices to stop working for Daily Tawar. After their useless efforts ,intelligence agencies now planned to intimidate tawar’s with their pressure tactics, they now choose to physically abolish the Newspaper, its staff and news agents.

According to the editor of Daily Tawar” Yesterday notorious Pakistani intelligence agencies in the provincial capital of Balochistan pressurized the news agents and newspaper seller to stop selling Daily Tawar; in case of denying they will be responsible for their lives.

Daily Tawar a leading Urdu newspaper despite the limited sources not only continues its publication but also followed the real function of mass media. Tawar despite several threats from pressure group continues serving Baloch nation for seven years but it may not anymore because of rotten situation in Balochistan” said Khadam Lehri Baloch”

Daily Tawar in its today’s publication wrote” pressure on Tawar newspaper has increased, working journalists of Tawar including news agents and beuro chiefs in provincial capital of Balochistan; are life threatened and circulations of leading paper in Quetta has been stopped today. A student from Balochistan university on the bet of anonymity said” we in this modern era are deliberately being deprived by Pakistani intelligence agencies to know the current situation in Balochistan”.

However Mr. Lehri editor of Daily Tawar said now intelligence agencies after threatening me many times; now pressurizing the staff and news agents of Daily Tawar. There are almost 120 reporters, correspondents and news agents working for Daily Tawar at various places of Balochistan, their lives are in danger. Tawar staffs including people of Balochistan once again urge the Reporter without Borders, International Association of Journalists, International Union of Journalists, Union of Journalists, and including national and international organizations to call emergency meetings, make commissions’ in order to save hundreds of journalists in Balochistan.
