Family of Ghaffar Langov set up a token hunger strike protest in front of Quetta Press Club
Karachi: Family, friends and party colleagues of Mahboob Wadhela Baloch have demanded his immediate release. They were protesting against his abduction by Pakistani intelligence agencies from Karachi on 2nd April 2010. Protesters were holding placards inscribed against Pakistan authorities and demands for the release of Mahboob Wadhela Baloch.
According to family sources, the driver (of the Van) and passengers, the Van in which Mahboob was travelling was stopped at Yousaf Goath in Karachi by the Police first; as soon as the Van stopped, military personnel in plain clothes got on it and started checking ID cards of the passengers. When they reached to Mahboob and checked his ID “that’s (him) the one we’re looking for”, they muttered to each other. Then they asked Mr Wadhela to pick his luggage and get off the Van.
Speaking to media men Mr Wadhela’s Brother Faisal Baloch said that his brother (Mahboob) had come to Karachi for his treatment because he was suffering from a kidney pain. On 2nd April he boarded a Van to Gwadar for some family (urgent) work but was due to come back to Karachi for his complete treatment. Mr Faisal said that Mahboob was not wanted in any case and he never engaged in illegal or unlawful acts. Why was he arrested? He went on to say that because his brother is suffering from kidney pain and it is suspected that he will be inhumanly tortured, provided with no medication that is why his life is in grave danger. He appealed the Cheif justice of Pakistan, The United Nations and other Human Rights Organisations to take notice of Mahboob’s illegal arrest and use their influence to save his life. If my bother has committed any crime he should be brought before the court of justice, he argued.
Meanwhile the family sources said that four days has passed but still there was no clue of Mr Wadhela. They said according law and constitution if any citizen commits he crime he/she must be produced before a court within 24 hours of his/her arrest but Mahboob is missing from last four days; the relevant departments have failed to recover him and produce him to the court of law.
They reiterated the Mahboob’s life is in danger hence the Supreme Court must take issue notices to Sindh Police and officer of intelligence agencies in Sindh to insure Mr Wadhela’s safe and early release.Separatly, in Quetta the family members of Comrade Abdul Ghaffar Langov Baloch observed a token hunger strike protest in front of Quetta Press Club on Saturday. They said Ghaffar was the only bread-winner of the family and after his arrest family was under psychological pressure. Ghaffar Langove was whisked away by Pakistani intelligence agencies from Karachi 11-12-2009. He has never been produced to any court and his family members have not been told about his whereabouts.
Mr Langov’s family said that he had been arrested twice already and he spent several years in prison. After completing his sentence he had been released. But his freedom was short-lived as the intelligence agencies re-arrested him for the third time from a Karachi hospital where his wife was under treatment.

972 Baloch have been arrested in Balochistan, Iran only in November 08

Reza Hossein Borr
The Tortured body of Mohammad Brahouee was delivered to his family after being kidnapped on the first of December 08 by Iranian security forces, according to Balochistan Human Rights Watch. Mohammad was seriously beaten up in his own home, in front of his four children and wife and some neighbors. When he became unconscious, the security forces kidnapped him and informed his family after four days that he was dead.
When the family received the body, it was full of traces of torture, fractured fingers, and holes in his feet, scarves on his back and chest and severe injuries to his head. His whole body showed that he has been severely torture to death. This 37 years old victim of the Islamic Republic of Iran leaves behind a young wife and four small children.
The official Iranian Isna news agency also reported that one Baloch has been killed on second of December 08. The name of the victim was identified only as Abdullah. The Islamic regime usually does not give full details of identities of its victims. It is generally known in Iran that the Islamic regime usually arrests human rights and political activists mostly from Baluchistan and Kurdistan and executes them with ordinary criminals collectively to prevent the outrage of civil society activities.
Radio Baluchi, a reliable information source of Baluchistan, quoted Iranian official news agencies that 37 Sunni and Baluch have been killed in December 08 in Baluchistan and its neighboring areas. Chief Sardar Nekouee announced that the security forces have arrested 972 men in Baluchistan during an operation which was aimed at establishing and promoting social stability in Baluchistan. http://sb.isna.ir/mainnews.php?ID=News-20172
Colonel Molla Shahi, the commander of Iranian security forces in Baluchistan announced that three Baluch have been arrested and one was killed during an operation in which 28 tones of rice was confiscated. This is not the first time that the ordinary Baluch people are getting arrested or killed for trading foodstuff within the borders of Iran. The Baluch businessmen face severe limitations in conducting their legal businesses. The Islamic Republic of Iran deliberately limits the import of food in Baluchistan to create maximum poverty in this province which is the poorest province in Iran according to all United Nations researches. The three tracks that were carrying the rice were also confiscated. This is a clear indication of impoverishing policies of the Iranian regime in Baluchistan. .
How the regime can justify the killing of ordinary people who are involved in transport of rice in Baluchistan?

Iran and Pakistan are preparing for a massive operation against the Brave Baloch Freedom Fighters
Iranian air force and Revolutionary Guards in a massive scale are also mobilised to take part in this gory operation in the arbitrary border areas of occupied Balochistan, against Sarmachars, (the freedom sarmachars). In Mand, a border town between Iran and Pakistan, our reporters have informed Radio Gwank that Iranian air fighter jets have been seen low flying over Mand sky yesterday at 12. The Areas between Panjgoor and Awaran, particularly Gichk town are under the virtual siege of Pakistani occupying forces. Reports are also coming from Taptan Mashkil, Zamuran of Newano Bualaida, forces are preparing for an incursion into Pakistani occupied areas to enforce Pakistani forces engaged in the operation.
According to our reliable sources, the main objective of this brutal operation is to expel Sarmachars from cities, towns and villages of Balochistan where frequencies of urban attacks against Pakistani forces have recently increased. But when Radio Gwank contacted a spokesperson of a resistance force, about this operation, he said the coward Pakistani and Iranian forces are depending on their air forces. Otherwise their armed forces are of no match to Baloch Sarmachars. Baloch Sarmachars are a defensive force, engaged in a struggle to expel the occupying alien forces from Baloch homeland. It should be remembered that the strategic dialogues between Pakistan and the United States took place, are feared that all American sophisticated weapons have been consented by US administration to be used against Baloch national struggle for freedom, instead of al Qaeda and Talban.
